A train west: visiting the family

My last morning in Berlin, we woke up early and got breakfast at Manolo.

Time for a six hour trainride to the Netherlands.
(although I neeeeeeeeeeeeeever wanted to leave!!)

After arriving just in time for dinner (it was Spargel season!) and a very, very long night’s sleep, the relatives & I decided to spend the next day in Leiden.

We visited the university which has a particular programme that I’m interested in (although not for a few more years, at least), then promptly made a beeline for the ethnographic museum.

I fell in love, just a little.

Then wandered off.

And took a break for lunch.
