Happy belated…

This year, I am thankful for the city.
I am thankful for one of the most amazing opportunities I’ve come across in my life.
I am thankful for my job, for my coworkers.
I am thankful for my charming, tiny apartment.
I am thankful for the absolutely unbelievable group of people that I’ve become surrounded with.
I am thankful that I feel so at home, so far away from home.
I am thankful that I am always laughing.
I am thankful for quiz nights at the pub, for afternoons in cafés, for weekends possessed by the inability to sit still because there is so much to do just outside my door.
I am thankful for the most spectacular fall colours I’ve ever seen.
I am thankful that here, I can indulge my wanderlust every single day.
I am thankful for the subway system, the food, the exchange rate.
I am, of course and always, thankful for my health and my happiness and my family and everything one usually ruminates on this time of year.

But mostly, I am thankful for Seoul. Through all the doubts and all the headaches, I am thankful that I never gave up. I am so thankful for everything this has brought.

Now let’s go explore.

Wow…thank you!! It’s really great to know that other people can travel vicariously through this blog. Maybe you’ll travel with your family someday, right? :)
